What a time to be alive. After months of rumors and subliminal messages in tracks, Vybz Kartel and Mavado are officially at odds again.
In October, after Vybz Kartel dropped “Which League”, produced by TJ Records, some fans freaked out about the possibility that the most popular beef in Dancehall was going to reignite, but then Mavado & Kartel have totally denied the rumor sharing pics of each other and sending positive messages.
But something has changed again. Since Mavado’s diss tracks “Dem Run Een” and “Funeral”, Vybz Kartel has replied with “Step” (which is clearly aimed at the Gully God) and “Mercy”.
Last night Mavado has dropped “Brawla”, produced by Justus Ja Productions, who has fired some shots to Kartel on his Instagram account as well.
Mavado’s “Brawla” is clearly a diss song for Vybz Kartel. He starts the song with line “After me murder the son tun di gun pon di father” and he attacks directly Vybz Kartel singing later “If you think seh you bad bomboh*le me deh ya road and wait till you come out”.
