Rihanna Covers NME Magazine, Says Her New Album “It’s Never Done Until It’s Done”

Rihanna is the first artist to cover the free weekly issue of UK’s NME magazine. Riri talks about her long-awaited eighth studio album, her thoughts on Taylor Swift, life in the public eye, working with Kanye West, and more.

Rihanna told NME that her next full-length still isn’t finished. “To me it’s never done until it’s done,” she noted. “Until the final moment.”

That final moment is currently dependent on her producer Kanye West. “We just have to wait to get back in the studio together,” she said. “His schedule and mine are totally opposite right now, but I think this month we’ll be back in the studio. I have so many songs I love—and they’re so different—that it’s hard to actually put them all on the same album.” said Rihanna.
