Tyrese Gibson is breathing a big sigh of relief after receiving great news regarding the child abuse investigation, that had been launched against him by Child Protective Services.
The Los Angeles Times reports that CPS closed the case on Friday, November 3.
Gibson’s ex-wife, Norma Gibson, had been seeking a permanent restraining order against him. The “Fast and Furious” star had been accused of pushing their 10-year old daughter, Shayla, to the ground and beating her.
The singer and actor adamantly denied the accusations in an emotional video he released earlier this week.
In the clip, Gibson begged Norma not to take his daughter away from him.
The case, which had been heard in Los Angeles Superior Court, has been dropped. Gibson will not be subjected to criminal charges.
