Caught On Camera: Prince William Scolded By Queen – Royal Fans Can’t Stop Laughing

No matter how hard we try, it’s difficult not to fawn over the British royal family. After all, they are living the fairytale life!

Most of us undoubtedly envision the royal life as one filled with nothing but glitz, glamour, and luxury.

But we often forget that while the life of a royal may include those things, they are still human beings just like us.

While you may be thinking, “No way that is true!” there are quite a few ways the Royals have proven it.

One thing we know for sure is no matter how high up in society they are, they are still a family.

The world watched as Queen Elizabeth II donned her brightest lime green suit and matching hat for her 90th birthday.

She, along with the entire family, made their way to the Buckingham Palace balcony to watch the Trooping The Colour below in the Queen’s honor.

Those watching live on television that day would have missed what happened next, but thanks to the internet, we have a wonderful gem of an outtake to keep forever.

For a moment, Prince William stooped down to speak with his son Prince George, looking away from the event.

He then attempted to have short conversation with Prince Harry, but was quickly interrupted.

After only a moment, the Queen had noticed, and visibly nudged her grandson to get up. While there is no audio, it is obvious when reading her lips that she says, “William, stand up!”

And with that, the Prince was back on his feet, slightly bashful but looking on at the display. Prince Harry seemed to be equally embarrassed, instantly knowing he had done something wrong when his grandmother scolded William.

It is here that the clip reminds us that although they may have fame, fortune, and everything else that comes with royalty, they are still just a grandma and grandson.

In other interviews, Prince William has also revealed the Queen’s softer side throughout his youth and the loss of his mother, Diana.

“She’s been a very strong female influence and having lost my mother at a young age, it’s been particularly important to me that I’ve had somebody like the Queen to look up to,” he said.

“So she’s been incredibly supportive and I’ve really appreciated her guidance.”
