Army Veteran Murdered His Pregnant Girlfriend ; Shot His 3-Year-Old Son By Her Once And Her 1-Year-Old By Another Man 8 Times

A 24-year-old pregnant woman was found shot dead in her bed and her two young children critically wounded at a home in Georgia on Saturday morning. 

Shanique Bellamy was six months pregnantand her unborn child did not survive. Her children, aged 1 and 3, are in critical but stable condition. The 1-year-old was shot eight times. 

Bellamy’s boyfriend Clinton Lee Davis Jr. has since been arrested. He is the father of the 3-year-old child, who has since been released from the hospital to relatives.

Shanique Bellamy, 24, was found shot dead in her bed at a Waycross, Georgia home on Saturday morning. Her two children, aged 1 and 3, were critically injured 

Crystal Bellamy at first thought the gunshots she heard was just the television. Then she heard the children begin to cry.

That’s when she went into the room and found a cover thrown over her sister’s head. 

‘Like it was already a crime scene,’ she told WJAX. ‘That’s when I pulled the cover and saw she’d been shot.’

Police arrived at the Waycross home on Owens Street at 1.55am and Shanique Bellamy was pronounced dead at the scene. 


Bellamy’s boyfriend Clinton Lee Davis Jr. has since been arrested. He is the father of Bellamy’s 3-year-old child, who has since been released from the hospital to relatives

Davis was arrested more than an hour away from the home at an apartment complex in St Marys, according to First Coast News

Bellamy’s family said Davis is a US Army veteran who suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder. 

They said he left the army after he saw someone get killed. 

Crystal said she was glad she didn’t go into the bedroom right away when she heard the gunshots. 

‘He probably would have shot me too,’ she told News 4 Jax. ‘He didn’t like me.’ 

Davis is being held without bond at the Camden County Jail.
